《Redemption At The Puritan's Hand》的樂隊的根源要追溯到1987年，當Pól和Ciarán第一次和Pól的哥哥Derek一起演出的時候，那時樂隊名叫Forsaken，音樂風格上將融合了早期的激流金屬和死亡金屬，經常翻唱Death、Sepultura等諸多樂隊的歌曲。
