　　《虐殺原形2（Prototype2）》是一款開放式科幻類動作冒險游戲，由Activision公司發行。《虐殺原形2》是《虐殺原形》的第二部力作。

　　《虐殺原形2》絕對也是一個重頭大作，為此VGA還專門搞了一個僵屍線索來宣傳。比起一代，二代在很多方面都有了更好的優化。

　　繼前作設定，《虐殺原形2》依然設定在紐約市，由於之前爆發的災難，這次的紐約市被稱為零度紐約，根據感染程度不同被劃分成三個區域。曼哈頓是紅色區域，已經被生化怪物占據。曼哈頓附近的島嶼為黃色區域。綠色區域是最安全的，這裡的Blackwatch私人武裝帶來的是一種別樣的恐怖氣氛。

　　在第二代中你將面對新的目標——殺死你的制作者！新作中主角將不再是一代的Alex，而是新角色James Heller，一名士兵，他要搞清楚敵人背後的計劃，而且要殺死他的創造者。但Alex還是會作為敵人在第二部中出現！
