　　《橫掃千軍1242》（Real Warfare: 1242）是一個奠基於真實歷史事件的即時戰略游戲，玩家必須透過13世紀時的俄羅斯王子亞歷山大·涅夫斯基來下達各種軍略，在精心重現的歷史戰場上，擊敗進犯的條頓騎士團和瑞典大軍，並消滅所有入侵者，為遭受戰火摧殘的立陶宛帶來和平。

　　本作相當強調「史實」，無論在英雄人物的塑造及特徵丶戰役發生的時間與地點丶戰場的格局及地勢等，都做了相當程度的考究及設定，對喜愛中古世紀歷史的玩家而言是一大福音；也由於本作是「史實」導向的游戲，在游戲區域的設定上因而相當遼闊，如何運用有限軍力橫掃歐亞大陸，征服所有地區，將成為玩家的嚴格考驗。
