　　Paradox Interactive與AGEOD自豪地宣布其戰略游戲《WW1 Gold》於今日正式發售，該作實際上是2008年發布的《WW1》的增強版本。第一次世界大戰是歐洲歷史上破壞性最強的戰爭之一，《WW1 Gold》包含了1914年-1918年的一戰中所有關鍵性歷史時刻與重大戰役，目前該作已在主要的數位下載門戶提供下載。

　　《WW1 Gold》在2008年發布的《WW1》的基礎上添加眾多全新特性，如新的地圖外觀，戰斗日志，交戰計畫與外交管理視窗等。同時黃金版在游戲功能上也得到了極大改善，如配置工具可任意選擇新舊地圖模式，增強的地圖介面將更易於流覽重要資訊，另外游戲AI也得到加強，使得游戲更具挑戰性。
