《Planetary Annihilation》是一款由 UBER 所開發的即時戰略游戲，UBER 算是一個才剛創立的游戲開發團隊，但本身卻已有相當的游戲開發經驗，有參與過《終極動員令：將軍》、《魔戒：中土戰爭》和最早的經典戰略游戲《橫掃千軍》。本作可以說是《橫掃千軍》進化版本，畫面大幅改善、特效也提升了不少，但最重要的是新加入的元素，「星球」。
不知道有多少人還知道橫掃千軍（Total Annihilation）這個游戲（我猜也就一兩個人），這個是當年TA的主程序員在Gas Powered Games弄完Supreme Commander之後自己單飛領著一幫業界元老搞的新游戲，他們現在在Kickstarter上面集資目前原定目標九十萬美元已經達成，還有14天來完成各種延伸目標。
這款游戲完全繼承了最高指揮官的大規模多兵種作戰模式，
根據設計小組的說法該游戲最高將支持40人同時游戲，而且相較於同類型的RTS游戲更是增添了更大的緯度，星球作戰。
可以說Planetary Annihilation 開創了RTS游戲的新時代，玩家可以建立衛星基地，並可以通過執行太空艙來空降機器人，甚至改造小行星讓其撞擊星球！
