　　說到MotoGP的經營權大家可能會覺得有點困惑，因為這款游戲的許可證已經在過去的幾年裡被移交了。MotoGP的經營許可權已經不同游戲開發者之手，從一開始的NAMCO-BANDAI到現在的CAPCOM。事實上，在2007年，除MotoGP這個游戲的名字的使用權，其他所有一切已由某位游戲開發者或這些游戲開發組的某些分支部門給解決了。不同的游戲平台擁有不同的開發者。MotoGP07早前是CAPCOM開發在PS2平台上的游戲。
　　對MotoGP08的關注主要是集中在簡便的操作上。即使對新手來說，此款游戲也是非常容易上手操作的。對MotoGP08來說有個不錯的特征，那就是此游戲有個訓練模式，這比告訴你如何操作來說更加有用。只要一進入游戲，游戲就會讓你進入訓練模式，在這個訓練模式中，即使對有經驗的玩家來說也應該接受下。在訓練模式裡，你將置於一個基本的賽道，當你比賽出現問題時，不同的說明就會出現。你犯的錯誤越多，游戲說明的帖子就會出現的越多。在訓練模式裡，在你沒有溫故你應該知道的知識時，允許你慢慢開來調整你對這個游戲操作的感覺。
　 　一旦比賽結束了，你將被評分並且將會推薦你三種不同的比賽方式：ARCADE模式，高級模式或刺激模式。ARCADE模式是三種比賽模式中最簡單的一個，在ARCADE裡進行游戲，只要求玩家能夠平衡和適當的操作，並且此模式只要求最基本的操作，這樣游戲就會給你公平，讓你通過這模式。刺激模式是最難的模式，是最容易讓你掛的一個困難模式，但是一旦通過了刺激模式，你就能對車輛的不平衡進行控制，這對你在困難的比賽中在勝敗之間就會有區別了。
　 雖然你可以無限次的嘗試比賽，但大多數玩家都能在指導模式下順利的完成ARCADE模式和高級模式。如果你想在通過所有刺激模式，那你必須在學習在基本理論的時候做多受挫折的准備。
