在Susan帶著女兒Caitlin成功的逃出博物館幾個月後的時間裡，她已經不急於再次冒險。但當一本匿名的筆記被送到辦公室時，一下提起了Susan 的興趣。筆記裡面記載了不容忽視的珍貴資料，Susan立即決定休假去周游世界。幫助她解決謎題、追蹤神秘的線索，去搜尋歷史和傳說中的知名寶藏。
《冒險歷代記》是Gogii Games開發的最新作品，從故事情節的關聯上我們可以把它看作是《博物館逃生》的續作。游戲模式和前作相比變化不大，依舊未加入迷你游戲，完全依靠跳躍的場景和環環相扣的機關謎題來诠釋冒險氛圍。
