【游戲簡介】
《哥特王朝》（Gothic）1代至3代的開發商PiranhaBytes宣布了他們的最新作《Risen》（復蘇）將於2009年10月2日在PC、xbox360上推出。《RISEN》的故事是以中世紀時代為背景，發生在名為Mediterranean的巨大火山島上。整個游戲劇情共分成四個章節，並依據玩家的行為與決定，采多重路線來發展故事的走向。研發小組並宣稱，由於整個世界的呈現都是采用stream技術，因此不會有長時間的資料載入而中斷玩家的興致，就像是在真實的世界中行走、與真實的人物們互動一樣。至於在戰斗的部份，玩家可使用的招式，會隨著主角的技能等級一起成長；若累積的技能點數越多時，就會呈現出更多流暢優雅的戰斗招式。有趣的是，為了增加這款角色扮演游戲的挑戰性，研發小組除了設計有復雜多變的天候系統之外，還在場景的一些地方安排了有毒與危險的植物；若玩家不慎踏入或接近時，就會受到傷害。
