《The Ball》是一部第一人稱動作冒險游戲，使用了Epic的Unreal™ Engine 3引擎。游戲中，你將扮演一名外強中干的考古學家，在墨西哥的某個火山附近研究時，被困在了某個巖洞內。不久後，你會發現這其實不僅是一個巖洞。巖洞內藏著一個與世隔絕了好幾個世紀的古代遺跡，你將去探索一個黃金外殼的球中所暗藏的秘密。在解謎的過程中，你需要逐漸解鎖黃金球中的秘密，並學會控制它。你遇到的將不僅是謎題和陷阱，還會有奇怪的生物，它們是看守這個秘密的守護者。你需要用你的黃金球來與它們戰斗。隨著探索的深入，你將發現人類最大的秘密……
