mystery case files系列是big fis工口GAMEs公司的扛鼎之作。在上一集中，開發者加強了游戲的互動性，風格轉向了靈異主題。在本集中，游戲延續了靈異主題以及富有吸引力的解密過程。
在搬入位於路易斯安那州一座令人毛骨損然的豪宅不就後，Sara Lawson悲劇了，因為他的丈夫神秘失蹤。他們的女兒Magnolia認為爸爸是被一個復仇的海盜幽靈所綁架，去保護他的失落財富。伴隨著當地令人恐懼的海盜詛咒，你是這個家庭的組後希望！只有具備難以置信的隱藏物體搜索技能的大偵探才能找到Marcus Lawson！

畫面環節延續了前作的繪圖風格。本次的游戲在一座全新的莊園內展開，不僅具備了復古華麗且非常豐富的寫實場景，真人實拍的電影片段，也會讓玩家感覺步入了真正的案件中。
聲　音：

游戲大致延續了前作的冒險解謎游戲結構，玩家可通過少量的單詞尋物獲得線索物品，完成新穎巧妙的迷你游戲，更多的是具有深度機關謎題。切換場景，將線索物品進行還原，運用智慧和策略去解開謎題。
