《Achron》是一款科幻風格的RTS游戲，本作最大的特點，根據官方所說，就是玩家能夠穿越時空進行游戲，你能夠回到過去的時空，糾正幾分鐘之前的失誤操作。聽起來似乎可以認為，游戲自帶作弊器，而且是任何作弊器都無法匹敵的作弊器。 　　官方表示，時間穿梭這種設定將改變策略游戲的游戲方式，這款游戲將開拓策略游戲的全新玩法。比如，你可以看到你的對手在做什麼，在他們進攻你之前你就可以發現他的動向。
《Achron》具有單人戰役模式和多人對戰模式。總之官方的想法就是“出奇”，玩家會不會買賬就是另一回事。
游戲中一直會有一個線形的時間進度條，你可以停止時間、快放時間、甚至拖動時間線回到從前或者進入未來。並且這肯定是可以多人聯機的。
