《阿爾法反恐部隊(ALFA:AntiTerror)》是一款極為真實的回合制戰術模擬游戲，該作由俄羅斯游戲制作室 Mist Land開發，以俄羅斯 著名的阿爾法反恐部隊為主題。阿爾法反恐部隊相當於美國的三角洲部隊，成立於 1970年代。本作中所有的 任務都是基於歷史上阿爾法的真實行動改編，在開發過程中得到了阿爾法老兵的專業指導。游戲中的任務包括從 阿富汗拯救俄羅斯俘虜以及與車臣叛軍的戰斗等。
　在本作中，玩家將會操縱一個16人的阿爾法 小隊，不過也有一些任務中只能控制兩三個突擊 隊員。每一關的開始會有任務說明，玩家可以根據 任務特征挑選隊員和裝備。本作的紙玩偶系統讓 玩家可以輕松為隊員裝配各種現實世界中的武器和裝備。雖然是一款回合制戰術游戲，本作中還是有不少即時展開的動作成分。每一個回合玩家要向隊員發布命令，指揮他們的前進方向。指令下達之後有20秒的戰斗演示然後顯示結果。在演示狀態中，鏡頭會自動選擇戰斗的最佳視角以電影般的演出效果進行演示，玩家也可以在任何角度間進行轉換，並且可以進行回放，仔細觀察敵人的位置。
