在《樂高蝙蝠俠》這款游戲中，玩家將會扮演蝙蝠俠與他的伙伴羅賓，並以各種方式來保衛城市。逮捕那些脫逃的罪犯，例如小丑、企鵝及稻草人，並將他們安置在阿甘精神病院中。同時也可以從另一個角度，以反派的角色來體驗蝙蝠俠的故事內容，這時玩家還可以盡情施展角色的邪惡力量，一面在城市中搞破壞，一面與蝙蝠俠進行對決。無論是正義還是邪惡的一方，都會有無盡的任務等待著玩家。
本次《樂高蝙蝠俠》的開發商就是曾經制作過多款樂高系列游戲，比如：《樂高星球大戰》系列、《樂高印第安納瓊斯》系列的Traveler's Tale小組的原班人馬。游戲將會凸顯樂高積木在游戲中的Q版可愛特色，相信不會讓喜歡該系列的玩家失望。
