EA第三人稱動作游戲新作《愛麗絲：瘋狂回歸(Alice: Madness Returns)》7月21日正式公布，這是一年半以來的EA與設計師McGee 的合作成果，該作將於2011年登陸PC、PS3和Xbox360平台。這是距原作《恐怖愛麗絲》10年之後，愛麗絲要努力在那場讓她失去全家的火災的情感創傷中恢復。在精神病醫院的10年以來，她獲得了醫生的照顧，努力幫她克服噩夢般的幻覺。愛麗絲的使命就是找出她家人遇難的真正原因，這是一段富有挑戰的仙境般的旅程。
《愛麗絲：瘋狂回歸》是一部動作冒險游戲。玩家將扮演一名來自瘋人院的患者小愛麗絲，她努力在與自己不太正常的精神做斗爭的同時，去了解自己的過去。主角將不斷地在真實世界和愛麗絲幻想中的世界(也就是所謂的仙境)中穿梭，並使用胡椒磨、小刀以及其他武器與一些幻想的敵人進行近身戰斗。敵人的種類包括北歐巨魔、木偶、能動的茶壺以及玩偶生物。戰斗的過程中充斥著痛苦的嚎叫聲、猛烈的擊打聲，愛麗絲的身上和附近的地面上都會沾上大片血污。部分敵人可以被斬首，某些攻擊也會將敵人炸成粉末。在某個場景中，玩偶生物被愛麗絲削掉了腦袋，瞬間鮮血湧出，腦子都露了出來。部分對話中存在低俗用詞，例如：“我在那個血腥的婊子家附近看到過你。”、“她不和我在一起，還會在哪裡呢?難道在大街上賣*?”、“干掉街上的這些臭婊子”等。對話中也不乏“[內容被過濾，請注意論壇文明]”和“cunt”等詞語。
