Primavera P6 軟件是美國 Primavera System Inc. 公司研發的項目管理軟件 Primavera 6.0（2007年7月1日全球正式發布）的縮寫。
Primavera 公司成立1983年，已具有25年專業項目管理軟件的研發歷史，是目前世界上最大的、獨立的、協同的項目管理及資源和組合管理解決方案的軟件供應商，在全球263個國家當中的157個國家有其用戶，總共約450000多用戶，分布在42,000多個公司。
Primavera 最初推出的產品命名為 P3（Primavera Project Planner），一般應用於大型工程項目的進度管理。1999年推出了企業級項目管理（EPM）軟件，簡稱 P3E 軟件。Primavera 公司根據不同行業的特點為工程建設行業、政府部門、咨詢與服務行業、能源以及高科技等行業量身定做了一系列的項目管理模塊。其中應用於建設行業領域的 P3E 軟件又稱之為 P3E/C 軟件。
2007年，Primavera 公司再次對項目管理軟件全面升級，新一代的項目管理軟件稱之為 P6 軟件，目前最新版本為 6.1 版。
Primavera P6 軟件由客戶端及其組件和 Web 組件兩部分組成。
客戶端基本模塊包括 Project Management（簡稱PM）和 Methodology Management（簡稱MM），附加組件有 Job Service、Software Development Kit（SDK）和 Project Link。
Web 組件包括有 P6 Web Access、Collaboration、Group Server、Timesheets。
