Scientific workplace is a Math editor with usability much easier than Tex or LaTex, yet a little more difficult than Word+MathType, hence it s supposedly more popular than the other two mentioned above, yet, in China it s not widely used as Word or Tex.
The main obstacle of obtaining workable executives lies in that the .exe files which the links on the official web site of MacKichan redirect to are bad or corrupted when being extracted, which may be caused by the using of download accelerator to fetch these files from the ftp server of the software provider.
i ve tried to use FlashGet to download thse .exe s but none of the downloads worked with all of them being corrupted
and then i used google and was led to ftp.ctex.org, and spent a night downloading these two files which the eD2k links indicate and will lead you to, and surely they worked well
the main reason for sharing these two files in eMule is that downloading files from ftp.ctex.org needs registration and enough so-called scores. hence if you ve downloaded files other than these,yet still want some more but with zero score, then it s impossible, almost so, to obtain these two files from that ftp server.
