SC/Tetra是什麼？
日本Cradle軟件公司成立於1984年，致力於開發世界一流的計算流體分析軟件。該公司開發的SC/Tetra軟件在汽車、電子、國防、旋轉機械、環境等領域得到了廣泛的應用。從1998年開始到現在全球已經有上千家用戶，在日本有30%的市場份額，幾乎所有的日本韓國知名公司都是SC/Tetra軟件的用戶。SC/Tetra是用“更成熟的CFD（計算流體動力學）”概念，使用非結構化網格以控制體積法（FVM）為基礎開發而成。它傑出的可操作性已被眾多用戶所認可，自從1998年開始銷售該軟件以來，其銷量已超過1500個license。SC/Tetra是將所有功能集成為一體的（All-in-one）熱流體分析系統，該軟件徹底改變了過去的CFD軟件產品在“速度”、“簡潔化”和“價格”方面的形象。

SC/Tetra的系統構成
SC/Tetra是由三個程序組成的集成環境。
● 前處理器
導入由CAD軟件創建的幾何模型，以供劃分網格。根據分析目的定義分析條件。
● 求解器
根據前處理器中定義的數據模型，進行計算。
● 後處理器
將求解器的計算結果以可視化方式顯示。可以顯示精確的定量結果和流場的總體結果。任何復雜現象都可根據自己的意願進行可視化顯示。

░  SC/Tetra is true, full function, general purpose CFD software thatÆs     ░
░  flexible enough to grow with your simulation/modeling needs. This is     ░
░  frequently not the case for simpler codes or specialty software which    ░
░  can usually only be used for certain applications. SC/Tetra can be       ░
░  used for an unlimited number of flow applications including              ░
░  compressible/incompressible, transient, reacting, mixing, rotating       ░
░  machinery, conjugate heat transfer (including radiation), and even       ░
░  free surface flows. New simulation capabilities in SC/Tetra V6 include   ░
░  cavitation models, porous media models with thermal conduction, and      ░
░  weak compressible flow modeling with LES, enabling simulation of low     ░
░  frequency wind aerodynamics. The latest version of SC/Tetra also         ░
░  contains a heat conduction panel model that enables simulation of        ░
░  geometries with fins, e.g. heat exchanger, with less mesh. You may       ░
░  think you donÆt need all these capabilities, and you may not             ░
░  initially. But itÆs nice to know theyÆre there if you need them (and     ░
