從采樣DEMO聽來，相比之前發布的金屬頭，這套擴展的軍鼓比較厚重，底鼓也軟一些，沒那麼激凸，算得上是比較主流的聲音。不過還是需要深入的調節效果才能達到DEMO歌曲的效果。
這套比金屬頭的適用面要廣得多，從慢中速的重金屬，到中高速的激流、前衛、黑、死金屬等都可以很好的使用。
不過要達到CD級裡的音色恐怕有得調了。如果自己做著好玩的話這套音色足以應付了。
