界面具有3D立體感的FTP工具、除具有一般功能外、亦有傳輸曲線表、且它可如Winamp般更換皮膚，相當漂亮。你可以從圖形化的計數器中，得知文件的大小與預估的下載時間。利用FTP，FTPS和SFTP進行備份，同步和復制的工具，適用於網站鏡像，備份和更新。
3D-FTP能讓你檢視、更名、或刪除檔案；如果你對程序的工具界面不甚滿意，你可以從超過六十種屏幕物件中，移除不要的工具，選取想看的資訊。這些物件包括了下載速度、傳輸字節統計資料等等。3D-FTP就如同它的名字一般是個不折不扣的3D化使用者介面的FTP軟體，雖然它的介面是3D化的但是他的”裡子”卻也不簡單，以下為3D-FTP的功能介紹：
1.您可以自由的更新3D-FTP的Skin(外殼)：當您對於目前所使用的Skin感到已經厭煩的時候，您還可以到SiteDesigner公司上去下載新的Skin來使用。
2.除了可以下載Skin之外，您還可以自由的編輯，無需下載：跟Winamp一樣，3D-FTP也允許您自己編輯Skin，但是3D-FTP有一個更體貼之處就是它有提供編輯器，所以您只要在這個編輯器之中修改就可以做出您想要的Skin了!
3.擁有不規則邊緣的視窗3D-FTP突破了以往視窗軟體的限制，目前已經可以使用不規則邊緣的視窗了，讓整個軟體的設計看起來更具有立體真實感。
4.可以快速的讀取遠端FTP Server的資訊：當您在第一次進入FTP Server時就可以將Server中的Directory抓到Cache去，如果當您從子目錄要回到上一層的目錄時3D-FTP並不會真的去讀取遠端Server上的目錄，而是去讀cache中的記錄，所以可以增快讀取的速度。
5.可以同時下載數個FTP Server的資料：如果您同時連上多個FTP Server的話，3D-FTP可以為您同時下載這數個FTP Server上的資料，另外也可以排程下載!
