Revolution系列軟件可以應用在消費者申請、數據庫前台終端、多媒體演示等方面。Revolution版本的一個關鍵功能在於它能夠實現各個運作平台之間的透明化操作。除了Mac OS X和"Classic" Mac OS操作系統，Revolution軟件還可以支持Windows, Linux和Unix操作系統。
