VbsEdit 是一款顯著地縮減你編寫 .VBS 腳本所需時間的獲獎 VBScript 編輯器。VbsEdit 擁有集成的無縫故障排除功能的調試器。該軟件在調試期間顯示變量的值。VbsEdit 讓你可以在每行代碼當中每次設置一個斷點和執行步驟。Vbsedit 提供了從編輯器內部就可以采用控制台（C腳本）模式也可以采用窗口（W腳本）模式直接地運行你的腳本的功能。VbsEdit 在其編輯器當中集成了Microsoft VBScript 5.6 幫助，因此所有需要你做的就是按 F1 鍵打開幫助文件然後就可以跳轉到指針下面的單詞上面。
VbsEdit 集成了來自於 Microsoft 腳本庫的數以百計的樣本。在類或者對象的名稱後面為對象實例輸入.（句點）：VbsEdit 將為應用軟件對象或者類顯示一個正確編號的變量或者函數。在函數的名稱之後輸入一個開放的括弧：Vbsedit 將為函數在插入點下方采用彈出式窗口顯示完整的聲明。該軟件的對象浏覽器允許你檢查和檢測在當前腳本當中使用的 WMI 類和對象以及它們的編號。Vbsedit 可以為你（就像 Scriptomatic 那樣）生成 WMI 腳本。
Vbsedit 支持語法彩色顯示並且可以顯示行號。代碼摘要是 VbsEdit 當中最酷的新功能。代碼摘要是專門用於快速完成編程任務的可定制代碼片斷；這些代碼片斷可以使用一些快捷鍵插入到你的代碼當中。使得代碼摘要的實際方便之處在於替換字段和突出顯示區域，識別你通常想要替換以適應你的特殊任務的值。你可以使用 F4 鍵在替換字段當中移動（例如輸入"select"然後按 F4 鍵）。
