如何使用Softex OmniPass Client【指紋識別驗證軟件】：
在安裝了指紋識別的驅動和應用軟件之後，在任務欄右下角會出現一個黃色的鑰匙，這個就是指紋識別的圖標，指紋的設置也是從它開始,
指紋識別設置包含三個步驟：用戶鎖定、指紋錄入和用戶配置文件備份。以下我們分別介紹。
指紋識別都是對應Windows的賬戶起作用，下面我們一起看一下設置步驟。
雙擊任務欄上的鑰匙圖標，彈出指紋設置界面，點擊“運行注冊向導”即可看到運行界面，開始指紋的設置。
設置的第一步就是鎖定關聯賬戶。此軟件可以鎖定現有的賬戶，也可以創建賬戶之後建立關聯。
如果選擇“注冊現有的windows用戶”，將會彈界面，如果選擇“創建和注冊新Windows用戶”，則會彈出另一個界面。兩者的差別就在於創建新賬戶會有確認密碼和選擇賬戶類型兩項。
注：指紋識別鎖定的用戶也必須有密碼，如果沒有密碼，會要求在界面中輸入用戶名後點擊“下一步”，系統會要求創建用戶密碼，出現“新密碼”和“確認密碼”的文本框，輸入之後即可添加密碼。
以上就是鎖定用戶的操作，輸入完畢後單擊“下一步”，出現運行界面，之後進入指紋設置過程。
指紋錄入
進入指紋識別設置後，會出現一個兩只手的界面，開始十個手指全部是虛線方框，點擊其中一個方框之後在手指上出現紅色的箭頭，表明選擇此手指進行指紋錄入。
注：這裡選擇的手指和後續錄入指紋的手指並沒有一一對應的關系。如果某個手指上面有綠色的箭頭，說明此手指在已經存有設定的指紋。
點擊下一步，出現所示界面，上面有擊壓傳感器的提示，下面有刷三次的提示。並且在刷的過程中下面的數字會閃爍。如刷第二次時數字2會閃爍。刷指紋的時候要注意以下兩點：
1、 刷指紋的時候不要用手使勁壓傳感器，力量要適中；
2、 刷的過程不要過快或過慢，並保持勻速。
三次指紋刷完之後，“最多有可能需要三次指紋獲取操作”的提示會消失，此時仍然需要再次刷指紋，系統進行最後的核對操作。再沒有核對之前下一步按鈕為灰選。
當指紋核對通過之後，系統會有提示顯示“檢驗成功”，同時下一步按鈕變為可選，
點擊下一步，系統會彈出所示的對話框，詢問是否創建第二個指紋，一般情況下不需要創建，點擊“否”即可。如果需要創建，選擇“是”，系統會再次回到上級所示的對話框。
指紋錄入完成後，系統出現所示的對話框，對指紋的首選項進行修改，一般情況下使用默認設置即可，如果需要更改可以在後續系統中修改。
首選項設置完成後，指紋錄入就完成了。至此軟件中已經存儲了用戶指紋等安全信息。
用戶配置文件備份
在首選項設置完成後點擊下一步按鈕，系統會要求用戶備份配置文件，
注意，此用戶配置文件的作用就是當系統更換或者重新安裝時重新找回使用OmniPass軟件加密的文件和應用程序等。在說明中非常詳細，請認真閱讀。
點擊下一步按鈕選擇證書保存位置，建議用戶不要保存在本地，最好放在其他的存儲介質上。這一點在上面中已經有所提示。
選擇位置後為此備份文件設置密碼。輸入完成之後點擊確定按鈕即可。
點擊下一步按鈕出現所示的對話框，系統提示設置步驟已經完成，點擊完成按鈕後會彈出所示的對話框，要求登錄設置的用戶激活設置，按照系統提示注銷現有用戶登錄設置密碼的用戶，剛才的指紋設置即可生效。
重新登錄之後，將鼠標指針放在系統任務欄上的鑰匙圖標上，出現登錄用戶的提示，
雙擊鑰匙圖標即出現OmniPass Control Center，至此，指紋識別設置過程全部結束。

OmniPass Client Edition is a PC client application that can be used by consumers and enterprises to securely login to websites and applications (SSO) as well as protect data on a PC. The OmniPass Client Edition can also be used to secure e-mail, VPN and certificate private key access. Used standalone or in conjunction with strong authentication devices such as fingerprint readers or smart cards, OmniPass allows users to conveniently and securely forget about passwords and protect their data.
OmniPass also scales easily to an enterprise class solution which is integrated with Active Directory when used with OmniPass Enterprise Edition (click here for more info).
OmniPass supports multiple authentication devices and can be configured for multifactor authentication using any combination of authentication devices connected to the PC.
