《胖子的天空》（Huge）是一部僞紀錄片，故事講述一群體型過胖的年輕人在減肥訓練營中生活、友誼和愛情。
Willanina（Nikki Blonsky）在父母的強迫下進入減肥訓練營進行「鍛煉」。在訓練營正式開始前的「訓前留影」活動中，Willamina給其他人留下了「深刻」的印象。但是Willamina很不老實，不僅偷偷把大批糖果糕點帶進訓練營，還公開向同學們兜售。訓練營的負責人Rand醫生發現此事後，決定對 Willamina施以懲戒。
與Willamina不一樣，Amber（Hayley Hasselhoff）要聽話得多。她對訓練營的種種承諾滿懷希望，但事情卻不像她想象的那樣簡單。與其他胖女孩比起來，她不僅性格更好，而且更漂亮，所以受到同學們的追捧。曆來受人歧視的Amber一下子變成了別人眼裏的「明星」，這讓她不知所措。與此同時，Willamina心儀的男孩Ian（Ari Stidam）也對Amber表示出好感，這讓Willamina很不痛快。Willamina暗暗與Amber較上了勁。

It's based on a book by Sasha Paley, and is being developed by Winnie Holzman, who wrote the stage adaption of “Wicked”, among other amazing stuff, and her daughter Savannah Dooley.
